I always recommend to wait and save up, you'll be happier that you did in the long run. I wish I would have waited and saved up to go Intel with my rig

Personally, I'd just upgrade to a i5-7600k...  If you already have a semi modern system (which with a 860k you do)  Then the performance gains you'll see wont be worth the new motherboard, processor, and RAM price you're going to be paying.
