Linus has some build guides on his channel that might help:

 

 

just a quick example, he did tons.

Linux Daily Driver:

CPU: R5 2400G

Motherboard: MSI B350M Mortar

RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4

Most cables just need a bit of common sense. Like 6+2pin goes to the GPU. 4/8pin goes to the motherboard near the CPU. Molex/Sata power goes to HDD/ODD/Other... Fans plug either on the motherboard's 3/4 pins, on the fan hub if you have one or in a molex...

It's mostly the small cables from your front panel that you would actually need help and for that you have your motherboard's manual which tells you what to plug where. (this involve you reading what's written on the connectors and figuring where they go using the manual)
