CX series are NOT meant for gaming

CX Series Modular power supply units are an excellent choice for basic system builds and desktop PC computer upgrades

http://www.corsair.com/en/cx-series-cx600m-modular-atx-power-supply-600-watt-80-plus-bronze-certified-modular-psu

That's green label PSU not gray lable *sigh*

Okay to start off this is my first ever build! I have minor experience with adding expansion cards but I used to sell computers so I am familiar with most of the hardware etc.

Previously I have never had an enthusiast or gaming pc just a small laptop with a crappy discrete chip nothing performance based. I had considered an xbox or ps4 but I was driven towards a great pc something that can max settings on most games and is very quick and fast. Once I finally sold my old car it was time to buy everything I needed to build the rig.

original idea:

Thermaltake view 27 case (this was original plan)

Gigabyte z170x gaming 3 motherboard

Intel Core I5 6600k cpu

Gigabyte Windforce overclocked Gtx 1070 gpu

Ripjaws v ddr4 2133 2x8 gb sticks (this was original plan)

Corsair cx650m power supply

Tp link dual band wireless n pcie network adapter

Coolermaster Hyper T4 heat sink

actual build:

Nzxt h440 white and black case

Gigabyte z170x gaming 3 motherboard

Intel Core I5 6600k cpu

Gigabyte Windforce overclocked Gtx 1070 gpu

Ripjaws v ddr4 3000 2x 8gb sticks -->>> big issue here because i think my ram inst supported by the mobo

Corsair cx650m power supply

Tp link dual band wireless n pcie network adapter

Coolermaster Hyper T4 heat sink

500 gb hd

120 gb ocz ssd

i have installed 3 led fans in the top and rear of the case and retained the three factory fans on the front everything is installed except I cannot get the mobo to post I fear my last minute ram exchange is the issue. I am going to play around tonight and see if I can figure out the issue. I will give an update with some pics as well.

RAM supported just fine. Wwhy only 500 gb of HDD?

T4 is bit weak for cooler

H440 is expnensive, get S340

yes but there is a list of supported vendor part numbers in a supported memory list on gigabytes website they only support 1 version of ripjaws ddr4 3000 and its a 4gb version t4 was due to height restrictions in the other case i was going to use however I am going to use it now anyways its a nice cooler I know the hyper 212 is better and the choice of the hard drives is because I am repurposing both of them and will get a better set up a bit later when I have more dollars to spend

A CX is average in terms of quality, the grey labels are perfectly fine to use.

If it was a green label(even they aren't too bad), then it'd be a bit of a worry, but it's not so he's fine.

Regular desktop speakers won't beep. Need those buzzer type of speakers that plugs into the board.

HP Envy X360 15: Intel Core i5 8250U @ 1.6GHz 4C:8T / 8GB DDR4 / Intel UHD620 + Nvidia GeForce MX150 4GB / Intel 120GB SSD / Win10 Pro x64

that depends on the board you have, whether it has a post code or not. There should also be a buzzer prong for you to plug in them speakers. And speakers comes with the case not the motherboard.

There is a prong for them speakers in both rev 1.0 and rev 1.1 of the same board.
