ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming AURA

Does anyone have any experience with using this board and if the XMP profile works?

 

I have read a lot of reviews on this mobo's prior version (ASUS Z170 Pro Gaming) about XMP issues with overclocking RAM and the PC not booting up with XMP enabled. I was wondering if the AURA version also has these problems?

 

I plan to pair the board with an i7 6700k and G.Skill Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2x8GB) 3000Mhz RAM.
