How to turn wired peripherals to wireless?

Hi all,

I'm just curious with this keyboard here; http://geni.us/IP37d   can you make it wireless because it has a detachable wire. Is there like a small thing you can plug into the port and another one to the the computer like a receiver just like you do to wireless mouses but in this senerio for wired?

I don't know about any specific solution, but it would not be just a small USB thing, it would have to have batteries.
