just as an informational bit, this is how crazy the $20K idea even is.

 

12 core xeon at 3GHz (3.5 turbo), 256GB ram, pcie boot ssd, two 1.1TB SSDs for storage, GTX1080 because they didnt have any titan XP's in stock, define R5, BD writer, win10 pro, sound card, 10Gbe card, 7 of the best case fans fractal has to offer, 3 4K displays, most expensive peripherals, an overpriced UPS..

 

AND I'M STILL NOT THERE YET...

the xeon supports 1.5TB, and the mobo supports 512GB. (because i could technically have used 64GB sticks)
