For some reason, whenever I run Windows on my SanDisk SSD, it will always freeze (every 5-10 minutes), then resume as nothing happened. Now, I have Windows on a painfully slow hard drive... but it's working totally normally. Anyone know what might be happening?

Hi there, @LionWaffles.

Give it a try with a different SATA port and different cables, just to make sure that it's not a faulty connection. You could also download a drive diagnostic tool to test the drive for errors (I know it's a new SSD, but sometimes these things happen with electronic devices so one can never be too careful).
I'd also suggest that you check the drive manufacturer's website for an available firmware update for that SSD model and install it if you find one.
Resetting or updating your BIOS/UEFI might also do the trick.

Please let me know how everything goes.
