Cable Lenght and Lag?

Litow14

I was wondering if or how much lag would be introduced based one the length of a mouse, keyboard, hdmi cable. I was working on my new studio and thought is having the computer out side the room. The room is 15x9 so the most a cable would be is 25ft. Would it even effect gaming? (i am not some pro gamer so a few millisecond is nothing to me.

Let me know what your thoughts were. Would like to know.

if you used thunderbolt it would be fine because USB, and any display connection are not suppose to be over 10 feet

The length doesn't increase lag (electricity travels at basically speed of light) although voltage drop is the issue with signal loss (longer a wire the higher the resistance). 16ft is about he max for a usb cable, long as hdmi cables are just really fragile.

Running over thunderbolt seems to be a much better option.

Silent build - You know your pc is too loud when the deaf complain. Windows 98 gaming build, smells like beige
