On desktop, use Ctrl+Z, and on mobile there already is an undo button.

Hello! It would be of great use having an undo button in the text editor, as I have personally lost a lot of potential posts due to the delete all button, and an undo button would help. If I'm just missing something obvious, please point me in the correct direction! Thanks!

With Ctrl (or command)+Z you can occasionally get some text back, but this is obviously not on mobile.
