How to check CPU temps in stress test?

his was my first time building a pc.

What i did was install the cpu. (i5 6500)

Then i put my heat sink on the cpu. For cable management i wanted to take it off and put it a different way. So what i did is lifted it up realizing the thermal paste was already on the CPU. After i saw that i placed it back on the cpu really quickly under 5 sec. When i finished my build i checked the CPU temps they were 29 degrees Celsius.

To see if my CPU is fine, im going to stress test it but dont know how to check the temperatures. I opened the software on my old pc and it looks like this: ( I need to know how to read the temps before i run this program on my actual bulld)

Click start and the temps will update on the screen you're already seeing. Or you can download realtemp to monitor your temps in a different window.

The top graph displays the temperature of your CPU, it's individual cores, and the GPU.

Hope this helps...

Look at the color code key at the top of AIDA64.  It will tell you what color is specific to the CPU temp and each core temp.

The separately reported temps are for each core and CPU overall temp along with anything else you've selected in your setup prior to running the test.
