Set it to 1.5v and put it at 5.5ghz

Don't actually do that, look up tutorials on youtube, there's only a million of them, and every 3770k will overclock differently, so you'll have to know how to overclock, someone can't just give you values to put in.  Use AIDA64 when testing an overclock since it gives you temp and voltages, once you know what voltage the overclock you set consistently runs on, you can lower the voltage down to just over that and boom, overclocked.

Available from 3pm to Midnight Eastern Time (GMT-5). (>'-')> <('-'<) ^(' - ')^ <('-'<) (>'-')> You can't stop the kirby dance.

There is no definite answer as every CPU will be different.

GOOGLE  "How to overclock 1155 CPU", "Guide Overclocking 3770k" or "Overclocking guide ivy bridge"

Maximums - Asus Z97-K /w i5 4690 Bclk @106.9Mhz * x39 = 4.17Ghz, 8GB of 2600Mhz DDR3,.. Gigabyte GTX970 G1-Gaming @ 1550Mhz

4.2GHz with 1.2 volts applied will probably be a good start.*

Yeah, find the CPU multiplier in the UEFI BIOS and crank it up it around 4.2Ghz to begin with. You usually don't need a voltage increase for 4.2. I don't really have much overclocking knowledge past that point ^_^

There's couple ways to start overclocking first time. One is to read guides online and watch videos and then just go crazy. But I wouln't do that. While you may be lucky and succeed at once, its most likely you get BSOD and start wondering why and post here. Easiest (the noob way) is to use some auto-tuning software to find out what is safe oc. But that can be skipped. Just go to BIOS and find those settings that are shown in videos/guides. Then edit them. First multiplier and when it doesn't boot anymore, voltage. Use small increasements and run 10-15min stress between them to find maxinum. Watch out your CPU max temps with Real/Coretemp, HWmonitor etc.
