lots of GPUs can be made single slot with overclocking and some hacksawing, but the most powerfull singleslot card i can recall right now is the upcoming single slot 460 from Palit IIRC(brand is probably wrong tbh but it was a lesser known one) and there may be some 1050TIs that are single slot too

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

From HIS.

@OddsCrazyStuff The most powerful graphics card that can be single slot (albeit watercooled) is the R9 Nano.

Is there any single slot GPUs or GPUs that can be made single slot, that you can still get?

Water cooling is fine, even if I need to use universal blocks.

With the least amount of work there are GTX 1050 Ti single slot cards, coming out soon

That has a high chance of going wrong, so wont do that.

Also, it seems that all single slot air coolers wont work. They still seem to be designed to have space next to them for air flow and it wont be much of that with several GPUs and raid cards next to each other. So guess that means no Quadro/Firepro ether.

Its for a compute/rendering/folding file server. So some power is needed, just a shame that 980Ti Kingpin version and R9 Nano/Fury is no longer to be found.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

Check out Zotac's GTX 1050 and 1050Ti mini cards. They are both single slot IIRC.

With a waterblock so would that be true, but there is no waterblock available (at least not one I can find in store).

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.

The only reference Fury X I can find, comes with radiators, so its an option that will leave me with a lot of extra money spent on things I cant use.

Reference RX 480 would also be an option, but cant find it in stock. Radeon Pro Duo is also an option, but not sure how dual core cards works when you got 3-4 of them in a system.

I speak my mind, sorry if thats a problem.
