I don't know what Boxing Day is but I'd say Black Friday. Every time I'm in a store getting food I see people pushing, shoving, fighting, stealing...it's pretty crazy. I'd say it has the better deals.

I just don't. It could be that I don't have tv or money to go out spending post x-mas though.

December 26th. Day after Christmas.

I don't think the US celebrates/acknowledges Boxing Day.  So that would likely be why.

Boxing Day is a "shopping holiday" in Canada and the US - I don't think many other countries celebrate it. Boxing Day is December 26th, the day after Christmas Day. In Ontario (Since each province decides their own holidays) it's a "Statutory" Holiday - meaning it's government mandated and mandatory - you get 1.5x pay if you work that day, and many places (besides retail stores) are closed.

I get paid for any Statutory Holidays if I have the day off (Eg: My place of employment is closed, or it happens to fall on one of my regular days off). If I work on a Stat Holiday, I personally get an extra day off somewhere else in exchange - same as if it happens to land on my regular day off.

Boxing Day is definitely the "bigger" sale in Canada. It's usually the biggest sale event of the year.

EDIT: As @micahf pointed out, I was mistaken as to who celebrates Boxing Day - I knew the list was very small, but apparently the US isn't one of them.

For Sale: Meraki Bundle

Really depends on where you live. Also where is the Cyber Monday option, that is usually pretty big to. As an US resident I say Black Friday because we don't have Boxing Day here, I only heard of it through an NCIX video a couple of years ago.

Cyber Monday? Isn't that just an extension of Black Friday?

Cyber Monday is just an extension of the Black Friday sale. I personally don't consider it a different "sale".

Not quite, Cyber Monday has an emphasis on online deals. You can find a lot more online versus in store mostly with Black Friday. But in the past couple of years the lines have been blurring with many Black Friday deals also going online.

They are so close that some people consider them the same, really it comes down to some different deals. Some places do have different offers.

That's what I meant. It's basically just an extension for Black Friday for people who don't like to get trampled to save a few bucks.
