Nvidia 9600GT has low GPU Usage.

Specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo E7500 OC-ed 3.30Ghz.

Nvidia GT 9600 1GB

2x2GB DDR2 Ram

My GPU always has low usage and CPU is always using it's 100%.

Games which I tested: L4D2(100% CPU Usage, somewhat okay GPU Usage), Paladins(100% CPU Usage, 10-20% GPU Usage) and Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon(100% CPU Usage, 10-70% GPU Usage).

On just desktop use CPU Usage is 50-100%. I am using Windows 7 with 64bit.

Is something wrong with my PC? or Is it just the CPU? or GPU?

It is my main rig by the way(Yeah student life is hard.)

Average, CPU gets around 50-60C, and GPU never goes above 75C.

I don't know, I am not really sure about spending money on this PC, I just wanted to know if there is issue, which can be fixed without upgrading anything, If there is not I will keep living with it lol.

i just upgraded my moms from a c2d to a c2q the performance gain is well worth the money and you can even downgrade that cpu a bit and still make the upgrade to c2q from c2d

heres a link to some cpu options

http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-ASUS/P5Q_SE2.html

should be a few in there for 20-30$

I feel sad for myself aswell, I found that 28fps is playable on Paladins and Blood dragon. I might get seizure if I see 60fps

30$ is 75GEL in my currency and also transporting that item will make it to 100GEL or more, I only get 20GEL a month so It would be 5 months to wait. My patience will die by then xD
