External Graphics Card [Major Help Needed]

  Hi, My name is Alex and i'm your average 16 yr. old gamer. I come to you with a question on External Graphics Cards for multiple reasons; obviously my GPU is crap [Intel Hd Graphics 4000] which in hand it is    integrated so i can't just exchange it, I am limited on funds [can not afford a gaming laptop Or Expensive Eternal Hardware], and finally the solution i have found,EXP GDC V7.0 Beast Laptop External Independent Video Card Dock, is  inexpensive at around $40-$50, but would use my only PCI slot which is used by my Wireless card. These awesome people made a version with an express-card so it can be used on the go without it being taken apart  and reassembled, but i don't have a the card slot on my Laptop [Toshiba Satellite p855-s5200].

My question is this, Is there such thing as a USB [or other port] to Express-Card adapter? and may i have a  link to is also.

  • Here Are My laptops Specs.
    • Os: Windows 10 64-Bit
    • CPU: 3.2-GHZ Intel Core i7-3610QM Prcessor
    • Ram: 8GB
    • GPU: Intel Hd Graphics 4000 <-[Complete Trash]
    • Storage: 750GB with a DVD Drive, and Memory Card Slot [Used]
    • Ports: 4 USB 3.0, headphone/mic, kensington lock slot, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI, 1 SD slot
    • Only Has A Wi-Fi Card no Blu-tooth

look at a old 750ti used and that and it should game fine

I know that is what i am trying to avoid and i need my wifi card, i am no where near my modem for a Ethernet

Do you need to move you laptop to school or other places?

 

If you do don't do this, if you don't move it, you can get a usb wifi card.

Yes  I do move and often i need a solution where i can use an express card because it doesn't require me to disassemble my laptop everytime i want to game. im looking to see if there is a USB to Expresscard adaptor.

Its impossble to make a usb to expresscard adapter.

 

Your best hope will probably to buy something like a used dell optiplex and put the gpu in there.

Expresscard is pci. You can't convert to pcie. Your only options is the pcie slot for the wifi.

Expresscard has usb and pcie. That will give you a expresscard with only usb and won't work with a gpu.

 

So no.
