The SSD will support any SATA 2 and SATA 3 data cable, and any SATA power. But nothing else will work. Most new optical drives use those cables however, so you should be fine :)

Hello,

I just bought 840 EVO ssd and found out I don't have extra SATA cable

Is it possible to use my optical drive data and power cables because I'm not using it at all?

Yes they are still sata. Just make sure the sata is 6gb/s and in a 6gb/s slot on the mobo.
