So these speakers are on sale for $125, what do you think, are they worth it? Thinking of getting them to replace my single driver Omega speakers. Seems like most complaints are about the brightness, but I like a brighter sound.

What do you think, are they the best option?

Depends on how you are going to use them, I tried them in a store a while back, because I was thinking about getting them, but I think they are bad for longer distance. Close up I liked them, but nothing mind blowing, IMO they are pretty eh.

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

Feel free to pm me if you have a question for me or quote me. If you want to hear what I have to say about something just tag me.

well it is up to you. it is a hard choice, can you return them if you open them up to try them? (just in case you don't like them)

Probably, they are on Amazon.

But idk, I might just want to save until I can get something better. I'm thinking about getting some headphones in the future, possibly go crazy and get koss esp 950

I have a pair of them on my desk, they are great for nearfield. The horn Tweeters are very detailed, but they are not very forgiving of badly recorded/mastered songs.

Hmm....

I'm tempted to get them...

I'm not sure though.

I bought mine for $200, but that is the maximum I would spend on them. They do well with low powered amps too. The sound is bright, but I don't find them fatiguing at all; they are just right.
