Neither. 

 

Buy the game, it is yours to play. 

 

The extra weapons and stuff that are bought with real world currency are cosmetic changes only. They do not alter the balance of the game in any meaning way.

Yeah, this is what I thought and was suggesting in my first post, once bought and it's in the library, you can play it for free as long as you wish. (After re-reading my post I can see how it could be mistaken.)
