Can't decide which build to go with - Need help

HoneyBooBoo

I've been deciding on my parts list for some time now and I can never seem to find a list and stick with it. At this point my budget is around $1000 but my parts lists more than $100 over this. I'm wondering if any of you guys have ways that I could make my build cheaper. I'm tempted to buy an i5-6500 with a cheaper motherboard rather than a i5-6600k.

This is my current build

you could get cheaper ram. at least go for 2133 hz in stead of 2666, the difference in performance is very little. maybe even go for 8GB in stead of 16GB

The 3000Mhz is only $2 more expensive than the 2400mhz.

I'm trying to make my build cheaper, adding a 6700 doesn't exactly do that.

With a non-k 6700, you only need a h170 motherboard and no cpu cooler because it already come with one

So true it hurts

You could always drop the Z170 chipset to save some bills on the Motherboard and swap the 6600K for a standard 6600, 6500, or 6400.

I know, but 6700 is equal to 6700k when not overclocked. You are probably afraid to see your point wasn't right and 6700 is better at gaming AND much better at rendering because of the extra threads.

So true it hurts

The 6700 boost clock to 4ghz.. There you go, a legit video :

Do not forget the extra threads will give an overall better future proofing.

So true it hurts
