GTA V: Now or wait?

I don't think Steam does flash sales anymore, because people can now return games (if they are not functional, or if they see a price drop).

Wait so if I buy GTA V for $30 and it drops to $20 i can call or something and get $10 back?

If you play it for 2 hours or wait something like seven days, you can't refund it.

 

Just wait until Friday and if it's not on sale, buy it.

Well, not officially.. Look up the rules on Steam game refunding. I believe the rules are the game must be bought at max. 48 hours ago and you can max have played 2 hours of it. This can be abused quite easily by people returning it after it goes on flash sale.

I believe there is some other rule that makes it so you can't buy the same game for the next couple days after returning it though, so I don't think it actually works.

I would buy it now too as it's a fair deal, but unfortunately I can't because I'm saving money for a laptop. That said, it's not a great deal because the price has dropped to $35 many times recently so there's no need to hurry. You can buy it later at the same price.
