Well you can sell it here, or ebay, gumtree, craigslist, facebook etc.

Is it a ssd or spinning drive? How old is it, how many rpm, ever dropped it?

50 CDN is about retail price, depending on the brand and age you might be able to get $20-30.

personally, i wouldn't pay for $40 CDN second hand, simply because it's a 1TB, but.....  it's a laptop size hard disk, so someone will pay for that

i think

Never knew I can sell it here.

It's hard drive, it's been used less than a year. 5400rpm. Never dropped.

It cost about $65 here so maybe $30~45?

I'm not selling this because it's performance gotten any worse. I'm swapping a nice hdd with a new ssd so I don't need it anymore.

Probabbly $35 max, if it was a 7200rpm, or a 3.5in drive it would be worth more, also if it is sata 3gbps it will be worth less.

You say its performance has gotten worse. Is this because of the disk or your device?

I would never buy a used hard disk.

Laptop drives are just as common as 3.5 inch drives.

but it would depend on the price right?

a super cheap dirt cheap product would be alright if it passes the hdd health scan.

5400rpm is slow and you can get new ones for $50 that are faster. Or go for different route and pop external drive open. $25 max.
