Will gtx 1050ti 4GB version work for me.

Hardip

Hey there,

I am currently having this PC configuration.

Processor: Intel i3 2120

Motherboard: Digilite H61MX-EL Link

RAM: 8GB DDR3

HDD: 1.5TB

Power Supply: Standered 450W

I want to play games at 1080p in medium to high setting.

I am planning to buy Zotac GeForce GTX 1050TI 4GB. Link

Help me, will my current configuration will work with it. Or any suggestions for graphics card, Budget in INR 13000 (190-200 USD).

What should I do? If I buy this GPU now? Will my PC handle it.

Thanks you all.

it will work fine but some games will push that core i3-2120 CPU a bit too hard...so i would get the card but in the future i would recommend you find a quad-core CPU that is compatible with your motherboard...probably an i5-2400/2500 or i5-3450/3470 something like that...if you go with the ivy-bridge core i5 you might need a bios update for the CPU to work, but i5-2400 or i5-2500 are direct drop in.

| CPU: Core i7-8700K @ 4.89ghz - 1.21v  Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX Z370-E GAMING  CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i V2 |
| GPU: MSI RTX 3080Ti Ventus 3X OC  RAM: 32GB T-Force Delta RGB 3066mhz |
| Displays: Acer Predator XB270HU 1440p Gsync 144hz IPS Gaming monitor | Oculus Quest 2 VR

Thank you so much. Its a relief to hear that it will work.

i agree...not sure i would go as far as an i7-2600 that's a bit overkill for a 1050ti IMHO but there are i5-2500 for around 75$ so that's a pretty good upgrade coming from an i3-2120 i would say.

looked up the top end chip for the board but ya that's probably true (haven't built anything but Xeon systems in all most 2 years now so lol)

Hey all,

One update, I looked on internet and found a deal. I am getting RX 470 in around same price. Which one I should go for?

Thanks.

RX 470 obviously a lot faster than 1050ti

probably would require new PSU though.
