threads investigating the issue at the moment. take note that a repaste is REQUIRED for your system not to throttle and be hot as fuck unless you're running something like a 6700hq + 1060. Even then it's advised. Also take note that doing a repaste requires a complete disassembly of the laptop cause Alienware "structure design" on point. 

I was planning on a 6700HQ and a 1060. How are temps outside of gaming? My current laptop idles at 88C.
