Hey all, I have a question for those who currently own the OnePlus 3. How do you like it?

Do you find there are lots of bugs, or little qwerks?

Can you swipe away notifications from the lock screen?

Does having 2 SIMs in it greatly reduce battery life?

I had the OnePlus One briefly, and wasn't a fan of the OS. Seemed very unrefined. The hardware wasn't what I expected, and I hated the sandstone finish.

Now that they've had time to mature they've released the 3T, which is closer to what I'd consider a flagship killer.

I'm looking for a phone to hold me over until something I consider worth keeping comes along. Originally it was to be the Note7, but we all know how that went.

I bought a Nexus 5x to replace my Note5 while I waited, but I'm not a fan of the smaller screen and the build quality leaves much to be desired.

I'm loving the OnePlus 3. I've had it since the end of June.

Hmm... nope no bugs noticed.

I believe you can do that but I don't really remember because I use my fingerprint to unlock the phone and the fingerprint censor is like one of the fastest.

This I'm not sure of because I haven't been traveling. Sorry.

The OnePlus One uses a modded OS but OnePlus 3 is strictly on Android 6.0.1

I'm digging the build quality on the OnePlus 3... it feels really nice! The battery isn't bad at all even though there were rumors about it being drained. I can last the entire day with it no problem... I use my phone quite a lot too.

There's a sRGB function in the developer mode... I have that on all the time and because it's AMOLED display, the blacks are really nice. The colors are fantastic. If you don't use the sRGB though, you'll have more vibrant screen color and the screen is a little brighter.

There's also been people saying how it's not bright enough out in the daylight. I feel like a Samsung phone is way too bright in the daylight... like I don't need the contrast to be that heavy in order to see my phone. While the OnePlus 3 is a little on the "not bright enough" side, I feel like it's alright. Sometimes it's a little dark depending on how damn bright the sun is.

The OnePlus 3T is...not worth the upgrade for me but for a new buyer, it's ..I feel just about justifiable for the price hike. It could have been a tiny bit cheaper coming from OnePlus. The original OnePlus 3 is going to be discontinued in Europe. I'm not sure about other places. Nougat is coming to us in December.

Glad to hear you like it! Could you check to see what happens when you get a notification next time? If you're able to dismiss it from the lock screen? It's honestly one of my biggest pet peeves with stock Android. How is swiping to dismiss not a feature?!

Apparently using 2 SIMs takes up 10% more battery life. Not great, but not too bad.

The larger battery on the 3T is one of the only reasons I'm even considering it.

The poor sunlight visibility is definitely disappointing, but I don't think I'd be using the phone by the time summer gets here

It's funny, everyone was always saying how OnePlus was for the people and will never "sell out" by charging too much etc. However that's not how businesses work, they're slowly raising their prices and I'd bet the OnePlus 4 will be $499. A mere $100 away from top flagships from other companies.

Other OP3 owner here, yes if you swipe on a notification on the lockscreen it disappears.

Screen gets pretty damn bright, but I got my phone yesterday and since it's autumn here I can't realy tell in direct sunlight.
