The computer keeps on random freezes, whether i have just google chrome in a youtube video, or having many programs on. I have tested ram with both memtest86 and windows built-in test tool, plus any other windows tool for hdds. And none benchmark test showed anything weird. temperatures are 30-40 Celsius all the time. The PSU is new, like 3 months old. The GPU one month. SSD one year. Ram, CPU, Mobo, HDDs 4years. The freezes kept happening before any upgrade, but they kept happening more often with any upgrade. As of now, the may happen even 3-4 times a day. Bios, updates, drivers, all the latest! What can i do?

I have had this problem since I got my PC. I already know what the problem is but I cannot figure out why it is the problem. I can already tell you, it is Google Chrome. I have done EVERY fix for this. Just randomly Chrome freezes my pc for anywhere from 10-50 or so seconds. If Chrome is not open, it NEVER happens. I don't know what it is mate but it's incredibly obnoxious. Anything anyone can suggest to help... I have tried it, even so far as installing a new fresh windows 10. There is something wrong with Chrome or something that is on both of our computers that malfunctions randomly when Chrome is open. I have had task manager open before with the performance tab open when it randomly froze, task manager freezes too when it happens and right when it stops being frozen there is just one 100% spike on disk usage real quick. It's not a faulty SSD as I have had this happen on multiple SSD's, new ones included. I can't tell you how to fix this man, as I cannot fix it myself.

Edit: I noticed you have Windows 10 Pro as well, I have never seen someone have the problem and not have Pro... So I am curious if that is a factor in this.

Edit 2: I do have Windows 10 Basic on my laptop and it doesn't have this problem.

GPU: XFX RX 7900 XTX

CPU: Ryzen 7 7800X3D

Have you tried recreating the issue with only 1 set of memory?
