How do you stop this?

Does anyone know how to either stop Windows 10 from automatically Restarting or from downloading updates. Ever since the anniversary update came out it messed up my computer. Updates won't install and it's basically constantly Restarting because it just keeps trying again and again. I could always reinstall Windows but that's a huge hassle. Can anyone help me?

Click the search icon right of your start menu button.  Type in services.msc go to Windows update, and stop it, and set to disabled.

This will stop Windows Update obviously from running, as for your issue with constant rebooting it sounds like your dealing with a driver issue..  What is your specs?

PC - NZXT H510 Elite, Ryzen 5600, 16GB DDR3200 2x8GB, EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, Asus VG278HQ 165hz,

Mac - 1.4ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 1600mhz, Intel HD 5000.  x2

Endlessly wishing for a BBQ in space.

You can try that. One of the updates is probably failing and as long as you're not locked in some loop, you should be able to find what's failing and block it.

It's failing because you upgraded to windows 10 instead of clean installing in the first place which is what should have been done.

Go and do a clean install, it's not hard.

Idk what you did then, because if windows was installed properly you would not have issues with failing updates...

How did you clean install windows?

Did you do it the proper way by unplugging all drives except one and then deleting all the partitions before starting the installation?
