Its a good card but like the others said your cpu will hold back the performance. What games will you be playing, at what resolution and at which settings? A cpu / mobo / ram upgrade will also help a lot, even if its a used i5 2400 or such.

I have no idea if the c2d does well in those games. Skyrim probably bit idk in fallout in cities for example. All gpus listed by people will run it fine tho

that power supply isn't really great, its only good if youre 300w or under, or you can risk blowing the capacitors.

buy a better power supply, or get a 1050TI. The 1050TI performs equal to the GTX960 while using 75w instead of 125w, I'd even argue its better being that it has 4gb vram instead of the gtx 960's 2gb.

No. Find a CX450M or an XFX TS 430W. You'd be fine getting a 1050 or 1050Ti if your upgrade your motherboard and CPU later.

True, you can still get better for that amount of money though.

the vs450 is rated for 450w, and can make it to 500w about 78-82% efficiency without exploding, when hes only using 350-400w hes ok. of course getting a cxm would be better aswell.
