hey so this is for all mac users.

SO I downloaded a GTA V "free" online and let it install on my mac book air 2013 13 inch ( i know something longer, WHOAOAOAOA) and it has taken up so much of my space and I dont know where to delete it from. I let it download to my desktop but its not there because I didn't put in an activation key. So somehow the files are still there taking up space but I dont have the game. Does anyone know where I can delete them from to free up space on my laptop. Also, this is my school laptop so I really need help!!!

P.S. for people who have seen my last posts I have built my pc and its really cool. I might post pics.

Thanks,

PLS HELP ME

Free game downloads online. "How to get a virus 101". inb4 "Macs don't get viruses"

It's likely some virus that has nestled itself pretty good in your system. I would recommend you get a good Mac anti virus (I think Norton 2017 is pretty decent on Mac) and let it run, or just simply do a clean install on your Macbook (I don't know, but maybe OSX has a factory reset option? Keep in mind this will delete all your personal files and documents)

My school has but so much protection software on the laptop I am not worried abou that. I just want to delete the files to free up space for my work and other stuff.

Apparently there is a CCleaner on OSX, maybe that can help with uninstalling whatever you have installed. Otherwise it's just manually delete stuff (I can't really give tips on where applications might put stuff on OSX, not that familiar with the system)

An application which is used quite a bit for cleaning junk files, uninstalling programs and basically just cleaning your computer.
