Anyone got any tips for gaming on a plane? Im flying to Hawaii on Thursday morning (#1:00AM Flight).

Heres what im bringing for gear:

1. 2012 Macbook Pro 13" (Yes. I know its a mac but I have proper ventilation set up and Windows Installed)

2. Logitech G602

3. (Not sure yet) Either my 14"x11.5" Corsair Mousepad or a smaller Mousepad (7.5"x8.5").

4. HyperX Cloud 2's

Any tips to help? Im planning to put my mousepad on top of half of my keyboard.

Thanks

What mousepad should I bring? (larger or smaller?)

How big is your mousepad? Not all plane trays are big. 13" maybe good though. See if the plane has power output for charging laptop. Also maybe the headset can keep you away but do notice for flight announcement too like "We are crashing, don't panic"

Get some offline games otg

here's a piece of advice;

- forget the mouse, you wont have enough room for that at all

- find games that are manageable with a trackpad or are mostly keyboard based

- PSX emulator is love, PSX emulator is life

- get calm games, the person next to you will thank you

why can't you be normal and get drunk on the free whiskey then sleep the flight off

cuz being at the gta 5 stripclub while getting a lapdance at 4k is much better than getting intoxicated... duh

well not really necessary but if you do play something violent please don't shout or put it on speaker so they will freak out. some people have air sickness and flying is not always super pleasant with all the attitude change and pressure change

test to make sure the sound doesn't come out

I know the sound doesn't come out. Im going to be on an airplane with loud engines (Not sure if you have ever been on an airplane, but they are loud), so that won't be an issue

I have been on a plane multiple time but they are not that loud. Only take off

I'd reccommend you'd play something where you don't have to use the mouse as much and use a trackpad. Like @manikyath said, airplane trays aren't that big, and also remember that the person in front of you can have the seat tilted backwards, and that makes it impossible to have a normal laptop fully on the tray. Try "casual" games like singleplayer Minecraft, or, if you want something more interesting, play Worms. If it turns out the tray is big enough to use a mouse, keep in mind that some airlines prohibit wireless devices in-flight.
