High usage of RAM

Hello, 

 

i have ASUS laptop and there is a problem with RAM usage. 

(ASUS N75SF, i7, 8gb RAM, WIN7 64bit.) 

When i start it up it idle around 1,8gb but after a while it builds up like to 4,50gb. No background usage what so ever... 

 

Is that normal ? or it should idle at the 1,8gb ?

Have you check taskmanager to see what s using the most ram?

Doing right now, looks like svchost

Make sure your windows updates are all installed and restart?

SO i turn of the svhost (windows update) and it drops to a 2.52gb is it good ? or is it too high
