would not be a issue now on was only buy the rx480 on release month aftermarket one was not in stock first gaming pc  before  have a mac book pro city skline at 22 fps on low low setting

The GTX 1070 is great for 1080p, and will be good for a long time. A GTX 1060 will require you to lower some settings for 1080p in graphically-intensive games, and doesn't have nearly as much future-proofing to it.

 

The i5 6500 should handle a GTX 1070 mostly fine, though there could be a bit of bottle-necking in some games.

1070 if you have the funds, 

1060 (6gb) is also great (i'm thinking of getting on myself, runs cooler than amd and performs great(from benchmarks i've seen) must be 6gb if you want to use fancy textures/higher res in the future)

Ok I think I'm missing something here lol. 6 months or so ago, we would have laughed at people recommending a 980ti for 1080P. Here we are recommending someone get a card even more powerful for 1080P

my rx480 botnet some game but it stll run at  60fps and I have a 60fps monitor it is plant coaster that love gpu a lot andmax out the gpu all the time have to low setting
