What in the hell is the problem with taking out the hard drive and seeing if the thing will die in a few minutes? Am I crazy for thinking that isn't too much to ask?

First he said it crashes if he just had it sit at the desktop for 10 minutes, then, he says it only crashes under load. I'm very confused lol

Enough dust in a system can cause shorts. Dust can be conductive if its concentrated enough. Take some compressed air or switch the vacuum to blow and blow out as much dust as you can from the power supply, motherboard, graphics card ect.
