CPUZ reporting vcore or vid? +other questions regarding monitoring software

I have a 6700k @ 4.4ghz set to 1.29v on my Gigabyte z170x gaming 3. Intel speed step is enabled, however cpuz reports 1.27~ when idle and clock speed gas decreased and v drops to 1.2-1.24v when doing Aida64 stress test, which reports exact same.  Next CAM reports 0.8v when clock speed decreases,  but also 1.39~ whenever clock speed is above 4.2ghz.

Why isn't Aida64 or CPUZ reporting lowered voltages when clocks peed decreases? Are they reporting Vid rather than vcore? Is there a way to change this?
