I keep getting this BSOD when I am using my pc. When it happens the only intense program is Firefox. The BSOD is Whea-uncorrectable-error. I read where it might be the CPU but I wanted some other opinions before I start assuming.

Is anything overclocked? Is it a new system/a new install/old? What are your full specs?

H100i GTX
z97s SLI Krait

8gb ram (oc)

GTX 980

I am about to put the original clock on the CPU. It ran fine with the overclock I have on it. I hadn't used the pc in a while since school has kept me busy. The cpu is used but worked great, the MB, and ram were new. 

Originally put together in late June.

Disable the CPU and RAM overclock and see if there is still an issue. (my guess is that there won't be).

got the same BSOD code with my 4690K on an OC thats never crahsed before(exept for when i have been stupid with shit) and only crahsed after i started playing Paladins, ist a strange one and i cant fint much info on it...

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

I will report back once I do the CPU. Better to a process of elimination.

Seems to be working just fine. I will overclock the ram and see how it goes then the CPU

I couldn't find much at all. One guy said he resat his CPU and never had another problem, one guy had to resit his cpu every month. I reset all the clocks and starting from scratch. RAM is on 20000GHz and cpu is on 4.0GHz so far. RAM will stay for now. Going to try to hit 4.2 on cpu

4.2 on cpu and 20000 on ram is the most stable oc I'm going to get. I see all new skylake in my future of 2017. i7 6700k with an all black, all white, or black and white MB.

strange thing with my BSOD was that it has NEVER EVER crashed, its been rock solid like that every winter(i tun 4.5GHz in the summer because of heat) not enen 24h AIDA64 has crashed it and then i start playing Paladins and i get 2 BSODs WHEA uncorrectable errors in a day -_- temps were find and CPU was at around 40%-50% usage so i have no clue what made it crash :( good luck with your OC tho

I am going to stress it again tomorrow and see what happens. 4.2 was the most I could get out of it. It is either the MB or the CPU. I am not in the mood to buy a new CPU to find out. In the summer I will get skylake parts. It is what it is. I hope you get your's figured out. If I find a concrete answer with more homework I will report back.
