Painting Companies

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a company preferably either in the US or Australia that does custom case painting. I've already contacted both MNPC Tech and Mountain Mods but neither of them are able to help due to either a lack of time for this project or refusing to work on an STH10 which I understand. I've got an email pending with Smooth Creations but I'm looking for other places to get quotes to ensure I'm not ripped off.

So, anywhere else?

Thanks,

Wind

Hmm...I wouldn't know anywhere in Aus, but have you tried looking into car garages where they paint cars? I'm sure they can paint cases.

EDIT: Doesn't Smooth Creations do the paint job for Alienware?

I think it was Linus that mentioned the fact that when he went to Mountain Mods they taped up all the little bits for the motherboard stand offs ect. That is why I'd prefer to go to a PC specialist. Thanks anyway :)

I think so

I understand why you'd choose guys who know what they're doing when it comes to PC's. But isn't shipping the system that far out going to cost a lot, and a bit risky?

Go to a local car body work/paint place. just make sure you strip the case down mask off any areas before you take it in as they wont know what you want masking off.

If you were up north (Cairns / townsville area) I know a bloke who is exceptionally handy with an airbrush. Southward no idea. This is some of his work, I honestly couldn't comment on what he would charge for a case though and how long it would take depends on what he has on the go at the moment.

I painted my case myself, and frankly it's darn easy.
I forgot to primer, but it came out good, albeit delicate.
