I don't know. If it came that way brand new, then no.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

So, I got a laptop for free. But it has windows 7 enterprise on it, so I can't use the assistive technology free upgrade path. Is it possible to rid the os of the enterprise license so it just has a standard license?

Why would you want to change the enterprise license to a standard license? Enterprise has everything that Home and Pro have, and lots more.

So I can install windows 10 via the assistive technology https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/accessibility/windows10upgrade

I can't do it though because it says to contact the administrator for the business.

Enterprise is only sold to business and you're not suppose to have it. It is the responsibility of the original owner to remove windows enterprise and supply a different kind of windows license that escapes me. You need to take it back to where you got it and ask them for Win pro. It shouldnt cost you anything. And dont take the advice above about getting dodgy keys off reddit or any other site. You have an avenue to get a legit license and installation media so use it.
