Whats wrong with my pc?

So I have been upgrading the hell out of my pc for the last 6 months ish and its basically a new pc minus i have the same hard drive, ssd PS and motherboard.

So.. I have the problem alot of the time where my pc cant even handle youtube videos or chrome but it games fine, Could it be because during summer i basically never turned it off, besides that I ALWAYS turn it off at night now, i started doing that because i noticed how much worse it preformed when i did that, i know i need to replace something but i dont know if it is the hard drive or the motherboard i need to replace or whatever. i have had the motherboard for 2 years now, got it on christmas

my specs are

motherboard-asrock z97

PS- evga 600b

gpu - gigabyte gtx 1060 g1 gaming 3gb

cpu i5 4690

cooling for cpu- corsair h55

Not turning your computer off is fine for it (as long as its not sitting at like 90C all day)

Is chrome the only program that gives you problems? Have you tried youtube with different browsers?

Someone has too say it so ill just shoot myself in the foot. How good is your internet, and are you hooked up directly via Ethernet?

 

Since you claim games run great, it is not likely a less demanding tasks like video streaming would not.

 

therefore, the missing link sounds like the internet connection.

If chrome is a problem you may need more RAM

It sounds like it could be a software issue. I rarely turn my PC off, as I use it for overnight Folding@Home.

 

It could also be a network issue, though this depends on what you mean by not playing videos well. Is it lagging? Buffering? Or is your PC taking a crap every time you use YouTube?

I'm not saying it to be rude. When I'm trying to help troubleshoot your problem, it just makes it much more difficult when I have to decipher your sentences as well.

Also, writing with proper grammar is a good habit to get into, whether you are typing on the internet or otherwise.

It could be a flash or java etc plugin that isn't working? Check your plugins and extensions basically and install them if they are not there. It could be browser issue so may fix by reinstalling chrome or using a completely different browser such as firefox. That is all I have to offer at the moment.

i dont see the habit mattering and it wasnt hard to follow along with what i was saying, I know when i need to check grammar and spelling, this isn't one of those cases

its pc lag for sure, my internet is really good, and its not just youtube its basically any site even even loading up programs, only thing that does lag is when im playing a game, except the occasional lag spike

for example, my audio starts playing then the video pauses for like 5 seconds and i need to mess with it until it works for like 20 seconds. while typing this i scrolled down on my second monitor and it lagged my video for a second

Have you Reformatted and started from scratch ? Sometimes this will be faster then searching for the answer lol 

 

Seems like it wont be

a dust/ thermal issue 

internet problem

Ram Problem 

CPU & GPU are good  and  it runs heavy task like gaming well

 yes Fresh install of windows  might fix any weird software conflic/ misshap or Virus you got going on
