Is Windows 8 good?

Hey, I'm building a PC soon and I'm wondering what OS I should get

 

I really like how windows 8 looks, but is it any good?

I also hate how the windows 10 looks, specially when that huge thing pops up when you hit the windows thing on the bottom left

 

So is Windows 8 any good?

As long as you are able to do whatever you need to do on Windows 8, it's good.

Windows 10 should be better, but if you don't like it ... well just stick to windows 8.

If you don't like windows 10 then I don't think you would like windows 8/8.1, they are very similar. And with windows 8.1 you have the whole screen start menu. I would get a ISO online, make sure it is legal, and use that in the initial grace period to see if you like it, and if you do buy a key.

Windows 8 - Is brilliant like 7 in most ways to use,...looks like a hybrid of 7 & 8 (In the Windows UI, Mostly 7, New Task Manager though) when you use (START8) to remove the metro applications, it always boots to desktop, not the Win8-MetroMenu, Start buttons WORK, never taking you to Metro at all...

 

Go download Start8 if your using Win8 and Hate Win8.

I love this hybrid more than W7, once you remove the "tablet/touch" bloat, it's a polished Windows 7
