Need a great lan card

Hey guys,

 

I'm in need of a really good LAN card, because the one on my motherboard is really bad and games like BF1 are impossible to play online.

Any budget is good really, also should I got for PCI or PCI express?

Your nic won't affect games at all.

 

Your probably limited by your isp.

I really doubt you have a problem with the built in LAN on your motherboard. You sure it's not just your network?

Pretty sure it's not my ISP, don't have problems with the same connection on other PC's.

Considering that the chipset supports and the hardware itself is gigabit ethernet, I still don't think it's the motherboard. How do you have it configured to connect to your network?

What speed is the nic connecting at?

 

Its not your nic, and probably your ISP of the internet, or their server/

To actually answer this guys question. Basically anything from Intel is good.

Anyway, that upload will hurt you a bit but shouldn't be gamebreaking.

I find it unlikely as well that it is your NIC, perhaps try calling your ISP and working through their helpline?
