Cities Skyline 8GB vs 16GB RAM?

I have been researching on the internet whether or not more RAM will help Cities Skylines help run more smoothly or not, but I couldn't find a solid answer. I have a butt-ton of mods in this game and it takes nearly 20min to load. I don't mind the loading time if I can play this game without crashing, beacuse it crashes a lot, especially when i zoom in some busy area where there are a lot of population, cars and buidlings. So, will extra RAM help ?

While the game is running, use a utility like performance monitor or hwmonitor to see ram usage. If it's capping, then that's your issue. Load times are generally effected by hard drive; upgrade to an ssd if possible. Crashing may be caused by bugs in some mods, try selectively disabling them until you can get the crashes to stop.
