MX300 Crucial SSDs are great, they're on-par with 850 EVOS while still being cheaper. (there isn't a noticeable difference)

This^

The 750 series from Samsung also has good SSD's. A price far closer to the MX300 while being a bit faster (as with the difference between 850 EVO and MX300, not noticeable).

As for HDD's, WD Blue's are a good choice.

I am going to have to stop you there. From my experience the OCZ TR150 and the PNY CS1311 are a better deal. And from base, there isn't much difference. But if you use the Samsung RAPID software, you can literally get speeds of 1000-2000MBS read and write. I would get a budget SSD. One of the worst SSDs will be better than one of the best HDDs (from a common market).

For most people, an SSD is an SSD. It truly should only matter to the buyer what they're buying.

Samsung EVO 850 is like the best one avaliable.

MX300 is not that bad either, butt it can't compare to evo 850.

Still, any SSD will be better than HDD.

And for normal user, there realy isn't difference between evo 850 and any other.

Like everyone else is saying. Unless you are a content creator or just really like speed, it shouldn't really matter. I'd pick up a PNY CS1311 or a TR150. A crucial MX300 is a nice choice too.
