Putting together first PC build

Mooshy6665

1. Budget & Location

USD$ 800-1200$ I'm fine with getting closer to the 1200$ range if it means I'll get a system I'll be happier with in the long run.

2. Aim

Gaming mostly, though I do a fair amount of photo editing (photo shop), and I would like to get video editing as well.

3. Monitors

One 1080p monitor for now, open to adding more in the future.

4. Peripherals

Already have Keyboard, mouse ect.

5. Why are you upgrading?

I only got into PC gaming about a year ago. I bought a Asus g551jw, a good laptop, but it can only do so much.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

I love this monitor, cheap and just works, no VESA mount but it has some great color and is fine for gaming, unless you are pro league cs:go.
