They are both greatproducts, and that PSU is one of the bestat that wattage (if not the best). The 1070 is a veeryy power efficient card, i dont know what cpu you are using, but anything lower than the 6950X or a Xeon E5, this should be perfectly fine unless you are not planning on running SLI and OR overclocking.

No no absolutely not!!! The 6700K has a TDP of i think its around 70 watts, and the 1070 has a TDP of around 160 watts, and no system will draw 420 (blaze it) watts of power for just the fan and LEDs. The overclocking should be fine, i personally have a 550W and i have a i5 6600K overclocked to 4,5 gigaherts stable and a overclocked 970, no issues at all.

Not at all. If you got a good deal on your power supply, then great. It's an excellent power supply. It's just that the i7-6700K and GTX 1070, even when overclocked aggressively, won't come close to saturating your 650 W power supply. In fact, 550 W would have been just fine. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, however, as you can get slightly better efficiency which can pay off after a while of continuous usage.

A 550w platinum unit will easily run an OC'd 6700k with a GTX 1080 so you're definitely good to go.
