which phone should i get?

Hi! im looking to upgrade my old HTC m8 to a new phone.

 

I go gym alot, so music is really important, i surf on internet alot in work as for youtube, chrome twitch stream and so on (Speed, usability and so on) and i take pictures and videos quite often too.

 

I have been eyeballing LG v20, HTC 10 (Which has ice view case!!!!) or wait for galaxy 8?

 

im not sure which one to get. any recommendations?

Well since Samsung is having huge battery issues at the moment and if you don't want to wait for the Galaxy S8 which might even be prone to more issues then steer away from Samsung and go with one of the other 2 you're looking at. The LG or HTC. Both are good, it's more just preference.

 

What's your budget?

 

IOS Or Android?

 

Expandable memory?

 

These kinds of things.

Do you need a phone now or can you wait 6 months?

Basically comes down to that. There will always be something better around the corner, especially when you're looking at that large of a window.

 

The V20 would excel for what you want to do, though it is a fair bit larger than the M10.

So if you don't mind two handed operation, I say go for it. Plus you get those sick headphones if you get it soon.

They make soooo many models, just because one has a battery issue doesn't at all mean the whole lot of them is bad.

S7, S7e, etc are all excellent phones.

Well the S7 is now having reports of catching fire too now. The S6 is probably a bit old and useless to get now. A bit out of date for the kind of money his looking to spend. Who knows maybe he might be getting a contract and stuck with it for 2 years.

I just Googled it and came with nothing. Do you have any proof at all? The phone has almost been out for a year now. If it was going to catch fire, there would have already been reports of it.

Stop spreading unsubstantiated bullshit.

 

The S6 is also far from useless. You basically just get new features year to year, rarely is there a significant performance increase.

But the S6 does not have a Snapdragon 820 or above so will more than likely not get Android 7.0 support.

Yo, some reason i couldn't access to my old account anymore O_O

 

But. Budget is 500-600 euro, extendable memory is always +, and peferably an android system.

 

I had my htc m8 dot view case which i loved really much, and htc 10 has ice view case...

 

And. very soon i will be travelling to china, probably buy a phone on the go

i just bought s7 and I love it. Was also choosing between HTC 10 but in the end, the camera of S7 won for me. But if I were you, I'd go for HTC 10 if you dont need the best pictures (still really good camera though). It's fast, feels premium, it has good sound, and almost stock android
