Converting MP4 to AVi

Are there any free tools which do this without being basically PUP's? got a video file I need to convert and never had a need to go from MP4 to AVi before. 

 

 

PC - NZXT H510 Elite, Ryzen 5600, 16GB DDR3200 2x8GB, EVGA 3070 FTW3 Ultra, Asus VG278HQ 165hz,

 

Mac - 1.4ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 1600mhz, Intel HD 5000.  x2

 

Endlessly wishing for a BBQ in space.

Why do you need to do that? pretty much any device will play mp4

I need to censor a video, the tool I have (Wax) only works with AVI files.  

 

It's a one-off case really.

Will give it a look thanks.  Push come to shove will fix GF's Macbook Pro when the cable arrives and use iMovie which if I recall is capable.
