Recommend a portable gaming laptop

Hey guys,

It's my first time posting here and I have a budget of 2000 us dollars, so I'm looking for a portable gaming computer ( I already have  a beast of gaming desktop). I travel a  lot, so bringing my desktop everytime isn't an option for me. Also, I need to get the laptop from Best Buy (USA), cause I have a gift card. I'm looking at the razer blade 14 (gtx 1060) and msi gs63vr. Which laptop would you guys recommend?

The blade with a 1060 thermal throttles in overwatch, 93c+ and the GPU starts to slow down when it is about 82-83c.That is only one of the problems with it.....

The GS63vr is a bit iffy. The alienware 13 comes out fairly soon it has a 1060 and a 6700HQ, might want to give that a look

Before you buy amp and dac.  My thoughts on the M50x  Ultimate Ears Reference monitor review I might have a thing for audio...

My main Headphones and IEMs:  K612 pro, HD 25 and Ultimate Ears Reference Monitor, HD 580 with HD 600 grills

DAC and AMP: RME ADI 2 DAC

Speakers: Genelec 8040, System Audio SA205

Receiver: Denon AVR-1612

Desktop: R7 1700, GTX 1080  RX 580 8GB and other stuff

Laptop: ThinkPad P50: i7 6820HQ, M2000M. ThinkPad T420s: i7 2640M, NVS 4200M

This is shit. As confirmed by various users on NBR, it's way too hot. The 1060 is better. But then again Asus.

Alienware 13. It's actually quite heft though. Which is good, cause it can cool things. Also lasts as long on battery as the GS43VR

Yeah, almost all gaming laptop are really larger. I don't care if it's thick, just shouldn't be super wide. I'm not in a hurry, might as well wait for alienware 13 to hit Best buy stores.

I've always heard great things about the Clevo laptops and their re-badge brands especially Sager. My best friend swears by his Sager which has an i7-2760M (I think) and gtx-780m and has been reliable since he bought it back in 2012. From what I understand though you want to avoud the actual Clevo models and go with one of their re-badge brands because the factory BIOS is a bit buggy.

Unless it's from a Prema partner, they should all have the same stock bios from Clevo

I've heard the new Alienware 13 is pretty ballin'.  I imagine you could get a nicely spec'd one for around two grand.

I'm really tempted for that AW15 deal that Pendragon posted, also you can use the code TENOFF until saturday I think to get an extra 10% off!

Currently Best buy doesn't have the new alienware 13 model or the new 15" model. I'm not even sure if they will even carry them at all.
