Is Black Friday Worth It?

So I'm about to start my second build.  I have a case, psu, and motherboard.  I'm just waiting to purchase the cpu, memory, etc.  I saw some good deals on Newegg for the parts I needed.  Then I thought Thanksgiving is just around the corner.  I don't want to buy something now only to have the price drop in three weeks.  Does anyone have an opinion on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales for computer parts?  Is it worth the wait or are the discounts no better than any other deal Newegg or Amazon might have going?  Let me know I'd really appreciate the input.

The prices will generally drop lower, but you'd have to bet on anything actually being in stock. Things tend to sell out quickly around the Christmas period and new stock often doesn't come in until after the sales.

Short answer; NO.

They generally only mark items that are not of high quality down significantly and it is a huge hassle and not worth the time(depending on where you live). As @Oshino Shinobu said the prices are generally lower, but not by much on name brand and main stream product, of course if they even have any more by the time you get there.

Really depends on what you consider your own time and effort to be worth at the end of the day.

Buy online.  I got a Sandisk Ultra 2 480GB SSD for $110, One year ago!  the prices being "normal" right now are just reaching that mark today.

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.
