One could say: Apple support doesnt want to deal with dmg caused by users putting cheap unreliable SSD's and complain in general how bad the product is because of their own fault only. 

 

But ut also could be: we make u pay for audio adapter on our smartphone, we gonna make u pay even more on our other products...

 

One day apple will replace a keyboard for a glass touch screen (so much thinner ! By unreal 0.0000001mm) and if u want regular keyboard

you will need an adapter for $99 and a keyboard for $999 :D
