Help identifying connector on ancient gamepad!!

So I picked up this beauty (performance gamepad controller p103e) at the thrift store the other day thinking I was getting a steal for $1.99..without paying attention to the cable type (d'ohh!)

I know the picture isn't very easy to see but it's an 9 pin connector and yes I've tried googling it but to no avail..

Anyone know what kind of cable it is?

UPDATE: because I'm an idiot and didn't figure this out sooner I made this post..so consider this thread DELETED

That would be an aftermarket PlayStation gamepad, it might be worth some money to a collector.

For real? How much do you think I could get for it?

Depends on the collector. Some people pay $600 for a vintage, never opened PlayStation console, others pay $15. You might have it for years before someone looks to buy it, and I only said that someone MIGHT find it valuable.

If they do, you found a gold nugget. If they don't, you only paid $2, and if you find a vintage PlayStation looking for a good home for a good price, you'll already have the controller.

maybe $5 on ebay. There was so much PlayStation stuff made both first and third party that its still rather easy and cheap to find new unopened game and controllers and other accessories. There was something like a little over 120 million PlayStations sold.
