Mavericks, free!

KaareKanin

Not surprisingly, apple came with news about Mavericks today, but very surprisingly, it'll be free!

http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/22/4865858/os-x-10-9-mavericks-release-date-price

Happy days.

There has been a lot of praise for the way apple has incrementally updated their OS in relatively short intervals, but there has also been a lot of bad press on how they charge money for what might seem like service packs. Not this time! I think apple might do this to make "every" user run a updated system

Nope its true, it is free! Though I won't be upgrading for a while because I know there will probably be some big bugs with it.

Makes sense that it's free, Apple doesn't really make much money on software and they want their users to always be up to date with their latest OS.

I roll with sigs off so I have no idea what you're advertising.

This is NOT the signature you are looking for.

One of those, you can install it but just running the system calculator takes it to a load of 10.

i used the DP and so far some applications have trouble running in 10.9.

Yes it is a good idea to wait for the developers of your applications to release updates first.
